The Ensemble:
Dan Anic Dan was born and raised in the land of the Evergreen tree’s Seattle, Washington. For the past few years he has been acting and doing stand up comedy in the Los Angeles area. Acting is his first love and was the driving force for his move to Hollywood. After landing some commercial work as well as TV and music video’s he found stand up comedy. He can be seen weekly at the Comedy Store on Sunset and all over the LA area, if not performing, begging for stage time. He loves the theatre and started performing in high school but didn’t take it seriously until he was twenty-five. Since then, he has tried to make it a constant in his life. Most recently he finished a run as the understudy for the lead in the play “Leap” by Arnold Margolin at the Falcon Theatre.
Luke Berentine graduated Rider University with a BSA in Liberal Arts and Sciences Fine Arts concentration and a minor in dance and film. While performing various roles and directing several productions on the eastern seaboard, he has decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a silver screen actor in the wonderful city of LA. Since his move out west he has been seen on the Stages of the Fake Gallery theater, and the West Side Eclectic theater performing sketch comedy skits, and the Secret Rose theater with the debut play “Monotone”. Although he is a new addition to the Red Brick Road group, he is very excited to be working along such a fun spirited and talented ensemble.
Kyle is a new member to The Red Brick Road Theatre Company and is excited to begin working alongside them. Kyle recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with his masters degree from California State University, Long Beach. Kyle is an avid practitioner of voice-over work as well as acting theory and technique. Kyle's credits include: Clifford Glimmer in “Sideman,” Hamlet in the Troubadour's interpretation of “Hamlet dubbed Hamlet, the Artist Formerly Known as the Prince of Denmark,” Zach/Jed/Scott Rowen in the “Kentucky Cycle,” Pericles in “Pericles,” and Matthew Poncelet in “Dead Man Walking” to name a few. Kyle is working hard and diligently to produce non-stop quality work and is currently seeking representation. He would like to thank: Mom and Dad for all of their constant love and support, Turner and Brian, all of his friends and extended family for all of their care over the years, and especially Samantha for putting up with him on a daily basis.
Emily is a native Southern Californian but has recently returned after receiving her Bachelor's of Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of the Pacific. During her undergraduate career, she worked with all aspects of the stage and screen. She was the active Production Manager and Marketing Manager for many years which included operas, musicals, children shows, classical pieces, and contemporary masterpieces. Her love for the stage also grew as she pursued acting with such roles as Alice in Blue Window, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and Fanny Cranberry in On the Verge. She is currently pursuing her MFA degree in Producing/Production Management from California Institute of the Arts in Valencia. She is honored to be apart of the Red Brick Road community and hopes to continue creating amazing pieces of theatre.
Kari was nine the first time she announced she wanted to be an actor. Her mom prayed she would outgrow that as quickly as she outgrew wanting to be a doctor. She didn’t! After graduating with a B.A. in Theatre Performance from the University of North Dakota, Kari moved out west to pursue her dream. Her love for classical theatre has brought her some of her favorite roles including Hermia from “A Midsummer Nights Dream” and Dromio of Syracuse from “The Comedy of Errors.” She continues her studies in all aspects of the industry to expand her craft believing “the day we stop learning is the day we stop living.” Kari is grateful to be a part of The Red Brick Road and welcomes the constant opportunities, support and friendships within the company.
When Carrie was in second grade, she won first prize in a cake decorating contest. It's all been downhill from there. Raised in La Crescenta, Carrie left southern California at her first opportunity, to study acting and philosophy (you know, as a backup career) at the University of the Pacific, before returning to Los Angeles to act and write. Carrie is an advanced student at the world-famous Groundlings School of Improvisation, a published writer, and a curry enthusiast. She co-hosts the skeptical podcast Oh No, Ross and Carrie and plays Ms. Psyche on the bafflingly popular web series, Mr. Deity. Her favorite roles include Honey in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and the Fool in The Tragedy of King Lear.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Sara moved out to Los Angeles in 2008 after graduating from the University of Delaware. Sara has had a passion for film andbacting since she was a young girl. She was moved by both the performances she saw on stage as well as the big screen, and she wants to inspire people just as she had been inspired. Sara grew up performing in local theaters and her High School and College productions. Now in Los Angeles, she has worked on several short and independent films including “Katie’s Song” and “How to Help Yourself Completely”. She is currently in training and pursuing an agent. Her dream job would be to hit the big screen in her favorite film genre, fantasy fiction.
